Title: Power module V and I issues
Post by: chromvis on June 14, 2016, 10:17:09 pm
On one of my copters (NightHawk clone 280 with Revo, RS2205 2300 kv, BLHeli mini 30A) I got low capacity warning (battery tab red) - it appears to be faulty current sensor. If I set CurrentZero to -0.1 everything is OK. I am using battery sensor socket on Revo for sensors input and for power supply to FC.
In about 2 days I got similar problem on my other quad (NightHawk-200 with EMax 2204 2300 kv motors, 20A microESC BLHely, Revo,  APM Power Module V1.0). There was battery sensor down to 0 and very low 0.015 v on current sensor with almost no variations on load.
I just wonder if anyone encounter similar problem? And, how is sensor input is set on Revo? Do I need to set additional resistors (divider)?
It is strange that it happened on two different copters.
Appreciate any suggestions.

The wiki article https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Configure+a+Current-Voltage+sensor contains all (hopefully  :) ) the information on voltage and current sensors.  If it doesn't answer all your questions post here again.

Thank you hwh, I was searching on how to disable time alarm, but never guess that I just need to set battery capacity to 0 - it seems a bit counterintuitive.
