Wondering if you guys may be working on a Android or IOS app? Just curious.
-
+1 for an Android app! :D
-
definitely +1
-
Another Android +1!!!!.... someone started an OP GCS app and it was taken over by Tau Labs, but you have to use Tau Labs firmware
-
Actually Peabody wrote Android GCS when we was with OpenPilot, when the project forked he took the code since he wrote probably 100% of it. Openpilot was working on one but it never really made it to the public then was pulled into OPNG. Not sure what happened after that.

I was just looking at the "EZ-GUI Ground Station" App for MultiWii and Naze32. Man, that's a slick phone app. It would be nice to have the whole GCS Suite, but the thing that would be most useful is the autonomous fight programming. To cook a flight program, in-situ and download through a USB, is top of my wishlist. Most of the other functions are more geared to bench setup.......PID tuning would be a good field tool as well

I wonder if we can take a Raspberry PI, install Linux and then run GCS on it?
-
Probably not yet. See https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=97.0

I and some other people had the build going (slow) and GCS running on a RPi and BeagleBone before.
These build instructions should be of help: https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Linux+-+Building+and+Packaging
Last time I tried building it on a RPi (probably at least half a year ago probably more) I got stuck on not having a modern enough version of Qt, and then ran out of will while trying to install/build a proper version of Qt for the RPi.
Maybe I should try again some day...

If you want to test the Android app, just send me a pm.
Edit: Everyone can use it now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.librepilot.lp2go.beta
